Summer time is here again. Summer trend is not anymore about long-white-beaches rather people shifted their trip to springs and falls. Try the spring located in Ticugan, Loon, Bohol called “Danicop Ticugan Springs”.

How to get there?
From the town proper of Loon, Bohol, you can either hire a “habal-habal” and settle for the arrangement of fare. Ask them if they know where the spring is. In our case, we didn’t hire a motorcyle since we already had. There is no signage indicating towards the spring, but there are some residents of the place to ask for the direction. It would be a thrilling adventure if you’re a first time goer to a place just liked us. Travel time is roughly 5-15 minutes from the town via motorcycle.

What to bring?
Food and water are always been a necessity, never forget that.
Bring clothes if you want to bathe in the cold water of the spring. Just take note that there is no public room for changing of clothes, rather expect of big rocks to cover you from other people. Bring your best camera that would capture only the best experience that you can have. Anyways, best experience is not seen by any photograph equipment but will be cherish and treasure in our hearts.

This was the food that we brought during our stay in the spring.

What you can expect in the spring?
Expect nothing but enjoy. The place is really awesome. It is not a common place like we’re used to see everyday. In there, you will attest another beautiful creation of God. Nature at its best that will leave to a “wow” experience.

Take note: As of April 19, 2016 there is no entrance fee on the place because it is open to the public. There is only one person there at the entrance that will watch over your vehicles. It is up to you whether you will give a little amount to “manong” for his little service. Most of all, always keep the environment clean and green. Keep in mind to be responsible in your belongings and garbages.

Our Travel Budget:
Motorcycle gasoline – P100.00 (Tagbi to Danicop Ticugan Springs and vise versa)
Food – P100.00
Total = P200.00

Just a safety reminder : Don’t go to a spring or falls during rainy season. It will be very dangerous. Be vigilant. Keep safe always.

See you in my next Ann-Venture.

  1. Hi! I’m a student in Bohol Island State University. Right now we’re having a school project about aesthetic tourist sites. And I would like to use your great photos in addition to my project if it’s okay with you. I guarantee to give you credits.
