Temple of Leah

I have been hearing people talking about Temple of Leah. So I got curious what is it really about. There i found out that it is a Temple found in Cebu. My interest made me look forward to have a visit to the place sooner. So here I am making this article of Temple of Leah and our little but amazing experience.

My kind of welcome pose hahahah

I am not living in Cebu but i am lucky to have some good friends to guide us. Our location started in IT Park then we headed to JY square, where in there you can find the motorcycle for hire heading to the temple. What funny is that while we were still in the “jeep”, there was a one motorcycle driver making negotiations with us. He was consistently eager to have us up until we stop at JY Square. His team was our guide to the temple.

We trust them and we trust ourselves also so we made it to enjoy the whole adventures. I never expected that the speed of the motorcycle was as that fast, so i really hold on the my friend in my front and my other hand at the back of the motorcycle for our safety. But I did not forget to look at the beautiful view that we pass through and smile at it. It is quite dangerous also because there were other motorcycles on the road and they also run so fast. I was just praying for our safety.

Before we went to Temple of Leah, we headed first to Sirao Flower Farm (i have a separate article for this). The temple is nearer compared to Sirao Flower Farm. The road towards the temple is to tip. And when we reach the temple I was really amazed. The main temple is at the top, but the one in the lower portions I saw  big images in the big pillars (as in really big).

While waiting for our friends, we took pictures first at the entrance where there is a large Temple of Leah signage. After our friends came after we went to pay the entrance fee and started roaming around the temple. When we reach the temple area, I was amazed. I turn my eyes to every part of the temple in order to not to missed any part of the temple and save it in my eyes before taking any photos. (People nowadays, only take photos and never enjoyed the view, they only look after it in the photos that they took.) So i look several times at the surrounding, wondering every thing how were they all made. There is a fountain outside the wide area of the temple where there is a statue of three people naked. There are also tables with umbrellas on the side, put there for some people who can rest for a while and eat food. I also see the beautiful view of Cebu from there. I was really nice. After that we went to the Temple. There are two golden lions, located left and right in the front of the temple. The temple obviously have many big pillars, like the old ones, and I was like hugging it. My mistake i didn’t look at the roof above, to know what it is made of. We also have limited time for that because the drivers were waiting for us. We never missed the chance to have a signature picture whenever some visits to the place. Each of one sit on the circle where there Temple of Leah is marked. While others are busy taking each pictures, i walk towards the golden statue located at the center above the temple. There is a description there what is Temple of Leah all about. So much for that our adventure at the temple ended. But I assure you every one of us enjoyed even though the heat of the sun strike on us.
